President - Astorino Development Co., Chief Compliance Officer - Astorino
As the President of Astorino Development Company, Mr. Dellaria is responsible for all of Astorino’s construction services. They include Construction Management, an additional service to Construction Administration, providing on-site management of projects under construction; Design/Build, an A/E led full-service delivery system offering single source responsibility; and Program Management, a special delivery system providing total unbiased and independent project management, ultimately aimed at developing international corporate strategies for comprehensive turn-key construction. In this role, he ensures that Astorino's design and construction processes are integrated in our Design/Build Projects.
Mr. Dellaria has 40 years of experience as an Architect in planning, design, construction documents, field supervision and project management of large aviation, healthcare, corporate, institutional, commercial, and sports facilities. Mr. Dellaria has supervised well over one and a half billion dollars worth of construction.
His ability to concurrently manage the three Construction Services departments enables his team to support the A/E Group. Having completed continuing education in asbestos abatement and construction litigation, he is experienced in building environmental problems as well as potential exposure to claims for equitable adjustments, and as such, has prevailed in many cases as an expert witness.
As the Chief Compliance Officer for Astorino’s A/E business, Mr. Dellaria is also responsible for all of the documents standards, by overseeing the QA/QC Department as well as the implementation and supervision of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process.
Since joining Astorino, Mr. Dellaria has also assumed an international role in program management, overseeing the construction of an American managed transplant hospital built by the Italian Government in Sicily. As a native of Rome, he speaks fluent Italian and has the necessary cultural understanding required to properly navigate through the foreign project approval system.
Mr. Dellaria is a registered architect in Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Construction Specification Institute, the Design-Build Institute of America, as well as Astorino’s Board of Directors.
