| Palm Beach Community College - Technical Education Center Belle Glade, FL Project Type: New Construction Project Cost: $9.25 million Completion Date: 2010 Under the new design guideline implemented by Palm Beach Community College (PBCC), the Belle Glade Campus-Site 6 will be the first new PBCC building constructed to be LEEDŽ (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified. This facility will be a beacon of sustainable design for higher education. The new Vocational Training Center at Palm Beach Community College Belle Glade Campus-Site 6 will provide instructional training and certification for vocational programs in welding, diesel mechanics, cosmetology, criminal justice corrections and construction trades specialties. These new programs will prove as an asset to the surrounding community, offering new job skill sets and employment options. Working in collaboration with PBCC, Astorino is providing architecture, interior design and construction document management services for the new Green Vocational Training Center. |
